Jim Dunn of Aquatic Development Group receives WWA Hall of Fame Award

president of Aquatic Development Group (ADG) Jim Dunn recognized in 2021 World Water Parks Fair (WWA) for his induction into the WWA Hall of Fame. Due to the pandemic, Jim and other Hall of Fame inductees from last year were celebrated during this year’s general opening session.

The World Waterpark Association Hall of Fame exists to recognize and honor individuals who have made remarkable achievements in innovation and advancement in the water attraction industry.

When Dunn started working in the family business, he was building swimming pools in high school. Thirty years later, he is recognized as one of the leading designers and builders in the aquatic industry.

Dunn joined ADG in 1988, starting his career in the design department. A licensed architect with over 30 years of experience specializing in water sports, his portfolio includes many of the country’s most prestigious water parks and resorts, and he has established long-standing working relationships with clients such as Six Flags , Premier Parks, Gaylord Resorts, Columbus Zoo and many more.

His passion and enthusiasm for creating innovative products and solutions to improve client businesses has resulted in ADG’s InDepth approach which applies to all aspects of project management and development within the company. ‘business.

“I am honored and proud to have been inducted into the World Waterpark Hall of Fame, among many other influential patrons of the water park industry,” said Dunn.

Dunn’s work has received numerous awards over the years, including several Leading Edge and IAAPA Brass Ring Awards, an Aquatics International’s Dream Designs Award, a WWA Executive Award, and special accolades from the IAAPA and ARDA. In 2011, Jim was named to Aquatics International’s “Power 25”; a prestigious list of industry influencers working to establish a standard Model Aquatic Health Code (CMAHC).
