Many activities mark Day 1: The Tribune India

Mohnish Chawla, IG Border Range, Amritsar opened the Education Colleges Zone Youth Festival in the Dasmesh Auditorium of Guru Nanak Dev University. He was here to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the Zonal Youth Festival as the main guest. Chawla said that such competitions develop talent and creativity skills among the students and with this student achieved a good growth environment with positivity.
While welcoming the main guest and others, Professor Anish Dua, Dean of Student Welfare and Head of the Youth Welfare Department, said the university is committed to the overall development and growth of its students. On the inauguration day, the competitions started with the shabad / bhajan group followed by an Indian group song, geet gazal, folk song. In the second part of the day, the Architecture department organized on-site painting competitions, comics, posters, collage, sketches, clay modeling, slogan writing, painting (still life ). in the conference room, a (preliminary) quiz was organized. On October 26, the costume parade, sketch, mimicry, gidha, poetic colloquium, elocution and debate competitions will take place.
