Here is the menu and activities of the Fremont Friendship Center from November 1 to 5.

Lunches are served at 11:30 am inside the center. Seniors should reserve for the next day’s meal before noon by calling 402-727-2815.

On Monday: Barbecue meatballs, mixed potatoes, mixed vegetables and whole grain bun with margarine or turkey and cheddar on whole grain bread with lettuce and tomato, coleslaw, fresh orange, 1% or skim milk. Sip and chat, 9 a.m. chair volleyball, 9:30 am; fun bingo with money cards, 10:15 am-11:15am; pitch / pool tournament players, 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Baked cod loin in a sweet basil sauce, baked sweet potato, zucchini and tomatoes and a small whole grain roll with margarine or Reuben salad, croutons, mixed tropical fruits, 1% or skimmed milk. Tai Chi, 9:15 am; Mahjong, 9:15 am; bunco or corn hole, 10:30 am; bingo, 12:30 p.m. pinochle or moan and moan, 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Beef ravioli in marinara sauce, romaine salad and vinaigrette, mix of Italian vegetables and whole grain breadsticks with margarine or chicken salad on croissant with lettuce and tomato, cowboy caviar, square of banana muffin, 1% milk or skimmed. Catch Phrase group game, 10am; equestrian derby, 10:30 am; hands and feet, 12:30 p.m. sheep’s head, 12:30 p.m.
