JIF2022 activities across the Group for #BreakTheBias (Posted on Facebook)

At NSG Group, we are proud of the role we play in breaking down prejudice and creating a fairer, more inclusive and equal world.

Various initiatives have been taken within the Group around the world to break down this bias. Let’s take a look at some of the activities we’ve done this month to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Virtual Talks March 8: “Creating a Business Where Women Shine”

The aim of the event was to showcase the careers of some of the company’s senior women to discuss their careers and inspire others. The event was very popular with strong attendance from all parts of the world.

Women’s Career Talk March 8 – Japan

40 women from NSG Japan attended the online career session.

R&D site manager Itami, who can be a good role model for female managers in Japan, had a presentation to show her career and life events during her 30 years of service. This session helped the women to be positive about their future careers.

Light up our facilities with “Purple” as a strong signal for #BreaktheBias – Italy

The glass pyramids at the NSG Group car manufacturing site in San Salvo, Italy, and part of the buildings visible from the outside have been lit up in purple to show a strong signal to women throughout this month .

“The Glass Garden” – Poland

40 women from the Group took part in the “Glass Gardens” botanical workshops organized with the town hall.

Apart from that, given the current geopolitical situations, our team in Poland is fundraising to provide hygiene products and women’s items to refugees from Ukraine, mainly women and children.

Support a local women’s shelter with a donation – Germany

Our team at Automotive AGR, Germany supports the local women’s shelter by donating by selling breakfast to employees. Sales and employee donation will go to the women’s shelter.

The Women’s Shelter is a place of refuge for physically and mentally abused women and their children. It is a safe place where they will find the strength, courage and confidence to plan for their future.
