Red McComb Development Group Opens Far Westside Medical Offices

Red McCombs Development Group, McCombs Properties and Stream Realty Partners opened a new 60,000 square foot medical practice in the Far Westside on Tuesday, March 15. The two-story facility, called OneFiftyOne Medical Office, is located on four one-hectare sites at the intersection of Westernhill Drive and Highway 151, according to a press release.

The medical practice is located around four major health systems and hospitals, including CHRISTUS Santa Rosa-Westover Hills Hospital, New VA Health Care Center, Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, Emergency Center of Methodist Health Care and Baptist Neighborhood Hospital.

The population within a 10-minute drive of the growing Westover Hills Medical Center has grown more than 21% since 2010, outpacing San Antonio’s 14.8% growth, according to the news release.

“Stream has been active for over 15 years in the Westover Hills area, including over 200,000 square feet of office development, and has experienced the explosive population growth firsthand,” said the Managing Director and Partner. of Stream, Carolyn Hinchey Shaw, in the press release.

The building will include enhanced HVAC capabilities to help combat the spread of viruses and meet the rigorous demands of surgery or specialty care centers.

The total investment for the project and an expected completion date were not disclosed. MySA has contacted Stream Realty for further comment.
