Ammon News – The total registered capital in the Kingdom’s free and development zones at the end of 2021 stood at around JD1.4 billion, Khalaf Humeisat, chairman of the board of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZ), said on Sunday. ).

In a statement to Petra, Humeisat added that investment in the Kingdom’s free and development zones has become well established thanks to the incentives and facilities offered by the group, including public services and modern and comprehensive infrastructure.

He pointed out that the group has facilitated the opening of branches of a number of banks, insurance and customs clearance companies in free zones to facilitate business.

The JFDZ Chairman indicated that the group also issues certificates of origin for industrial products produced in free zones, in which local inputs are not less than 40%, in addition to providing a one-stop service for investors. .

Humeisat also highlighted other tax and tariff facilities and exemptions available to investors in the Kingdom’s free and development zones.
